About Us
Fertility Support is the only UK-based psychotherapy practice focused exclusively on fertility and related couples issues. We offer individual and couples psychotherapy as well as educational programmes and events.
Our team includes more than 10 psychotherapists who support clients dealing with difficulties such as unexplained infertility, male factor infertility, endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, pregnancy loss, high risk pregnancies, and birth trauma among other issues. Our work also involves helping clients assess fertility options, including IVF, surrogacy, donors or adoption, and process the emotions that arise from such situations. We also support couples whose relationship has been impacted by the aforementioned issues.
In addition to providing psychotherapeutic support, our objective is to enhance and expand the understanding and approach towards psychotherapy for individuals and couples facing fertility challenges. We aim to increase the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic interventions by furthering the research in fertility psychotherapy, incorporating new insights into our practices.
Additionally, by advancing the thinking behind fertility psychotherapy, we strive to promote awareness, education, and destigmatization. This is crucial for creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals and couples feel comfortable seeking help and discussing their concerns openly.
By promoting awareness, innovation, and destigmatization, we can provide individuals and couples with the support they need to navigate the complexities of fertility issues, ultimately improving their overall well-being and quality of life.
