Psychotherapy and Male Fertility

Alejandra Lozada Andrade was invited to write an article for Testhim, an organization dedicated to create positive change in the world of male fertility. In her article, she discusses how infertility can impact men and couples. Research has shown that men dealing with infertility are at an increased risk of developing anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. One 2018 study showed that as many as 93% of men reported their wellbeing had been affected by the experience of concerns about fertility, causing poor mental wellbeing and self-esteem issues.
